The Inner Child Isn't Only A Wound- They're Carriers of Wisdom

As I returned and allowed my younger self to speak, something unexpected happened. 

Alongside the fragments and the splitting, she began to remind ME of the beautiful and magical ways she learned to cope. The inner worlds she built. The meaning she made when things felt unsafe. 

Integration is not only about healing what was broken....it is about remembering what was alway alive. 

In this work, we are not only guides for our inner child. We are also the student and they teach us!

Part 1 Our triggers are messengers!


In this video, I guide you through reflective questions designed to help you explore emotional triggers- not to shame or pathologize, but to understand where they come from and what they are asking for.

Triggers often originate from unmet needs, unprocessed experiences, or moments where our younger self didn’t feel seen, safe, or protected. When we slow down, grab a notebook, and listen instead of react, those triggers become doorways to deeper self-awareness and healing.

Part 2 Understanding Triggers: A Pathway to Inner Child Connection and Emotional Safety

For the fullest experience, we recommend beginning with Part 1, where you explore emotional triggers and begin identifying where they may be rooted. This second reflection builds upon that awareness.

In this part, you are invited to create intentional, sacred time and space for your inner child. This may be the first time they are being truly seen, heard, and welcomed without judgment. Because of this, it is normal for emotions, memories, or sensations to arise.

Allow whatever comes up to come up and out, in the way it needs to. There is no need to rush, fix, or analyze. Presence is enough.

Approach this time gently. With patience. With care.
We are not forcing connection we are building rapport.

This is an act of love and protection.
We love our little ones, and we are learning how to show that love through listening, safety, and attunement.

Be Patient With Yourself: A Grounding Practice for Nervous System Regulation

I didn’t learn this overnight.

Learning to ground, to soothe my nervous system, and to stay present with emotion took time, repetition, and a lot of compassion. Singing, breath, and gentle movement became ways I could meet my inner child without forcing anything. If this feels awkward or slow, that’s okay. Regulation is a practice, not a performance. Be patient with yourself... your body is learning safety.
